The Cenotaphs are exclusively black-and-white photographs of figures, shapes and statues created using additive manufacturing (3d printing). They are hardened and accessorized with epoxies, adhesives, glitters, spices and other various supplements. When the initial monuments are digitally designed, they are given parameters intended to make them “fail” in a typical setting. These uncontrollable faults are the entire purpose and I have deemed the premeditated, murderous process “Printing in Cold Blood.” Each Cenotaph is meant as a grave marker dedicated to musicians who have inspired me over the years and act as a nod to my prior life as a musician
